The 2nd International Conference on Plantation Technology (ICPTech 2023), held on 10-11 October 2023 at Hotel Tenera, Bangi, Selangor, was a resounding success. The program organized by the Institute of Plantations Studies (IKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia was officiated by the Director of IKP, Professor Dr. Shaufique Fahmi Ahmad Sidique. The exhibiting booth attracted diverse visitors, including academicians, researchers, and representatives from ministries and private companies, highlighted the broader impact of innovative palm oil biomass products. Attendees expressed keen interest in supporting pulp-based items, signaling promising market potential. The conference underscored the informed awareness among industry professionals about the potential of oil palm biomass, sparking numerous technical inquiries and a desire for tangible displays of innovative products.
