On the World Sustainability Day, Nextgreen Global Berhad (NGGB) successfully achieved the milestone to plant 1,000 trees in 2023 collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and Jabatan Perhutanan Pahang. The installation of signage which commemorating our collaboration signifies the successful conclusion of our fourth ‘Program Alam @ UMPSA’. The occasion was graced by the esteemed Director of University-Industry Relations of UMPSA, Associate Prof. Ir. Total of 200 dedicated UMPSA volunteers and 35 Nextgreen staffs, we planted the remaining 550 trees in the Hutan Simpan Chini, Pahang. This endeavour is more than just planting trees; it’s about spreading a vital message of forest conservation and environmental stewardship. At Nextgreen, we are unwavering in our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and reforestation is a critical part of that journey. By planting trees, we actively contribute to mitigating climate change, increasing awareness about the importance of conservation, and showcasing the long-term benefits of restoring ecosystems.
