Nextgreen Global Berhad was honored to deliver a Guest Lecture at the School of Engineering, Taylor’s University. Our Managing Director, Dato’ Lim Thiam Huat, delivered an insightful presentation titled ‘Innovating Oil Palm Biomass: Nextgreen Global Berhad’s Circular Economy Approach’ to nearly 100 enthusiastic engineering students.
The session was highly interactive, with students expressing great interest in Nextgreen’s zero-waste and circular economy practices implemented at our flagship industrial park, Green Technology Park in Pekan, Pahang. They had the chance to experience our range of green products firsthand, including eco-notebooks, tissue paper, pulp-moulded food packaging, and biofertilizers—all made from renewable oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB). In addition, the students were given samples of our products to try at home, further supporting the promotion of our sustainable innovations.
