The Research and Development (R&D) team proudly hosted the Nextgreen Pulp and Paper (NGPP) Basic Lab Skills Training at the Green Technology Park (GTP), focusing on the professional development of our Quality Control (QC) staff, R&D operators, and Nextgreen Fertilizers (NGF) operators. This comprehensive training module encompassed vital topics such as the calibration and measurement of laboratory equipment, techniques to minimize errors during sample and chemical preparations, liquid volume measurement, pipetting techniques, moisture analyser measurements, data analysis, and best practices in laboratory operations.
Participants left the training with enhanced skills in equipment handling, enabling them to perform their tasks more effectively. The exposure to a variety of laboratory apparatus, many of which were new to them, significantly enriched their practical experience. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the hands-on opportunities to engage with different laboratory equipment and procedures. Participants reported a deeper understanding of how to utilize various materials in the lab and improved knowledge of proper equipment operation and maintenance, contributing to their overall professional growth.
