Duties & Responsibilities :

Purchasing :

  • Responsibilities for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost-
    saving for the company.
  • Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance
    monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company.
  • Maintain and review Purchasing and Receiving records.

Logistics :

  • Preparing shipping documents for oversea trading business.
  • Maintain and review local transports and shipping records.
  • Follow up the delivery status and update user if schedule delay or change.
  • Liaise with oversea supplier for purchase and shipment arrangement (required communicate with
    China’s supplier in Chinese through email/WeChat).
  • Liaise with forwarder and arranges for transportation of purchased goods and ensure the most
    economical methods of transport are used for importation.

Overall :

  • Follow up the delivery status and update user if schedule delay or change.
  • Liaise closely with warehouse to ensure all purchase items delivered according to the lead time
    and schedule.
  • Liaise closely with Account Department for payment issue and communicate with supplier.
  • Provide feedback to suppliers and follow up on the arising issues regarding quality, shortage, and
    warranty claim.
  • To coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Production, Warehouse and QC teams to ensure efficiency
    and effectiveness.
  • To perform others ad-hoc task assigned by superior and management.
  • Maintaining a good and updated filling system.

Qualifications & Experience :

Experience :

  • Minimum 1 or 2 years working experience in Purchasing and Logistic is required.

Qualification :

  • Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/relevant fields or its
    equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Malay is required.

Skill & Competency :

  • Computer literacy with mastery in Microsoft Excel functions is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills will be an added advantage.
  • Able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Abe to work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good team player by adopting good listening skills that inspired working environment.
